I am AI engineer and full-stack developer from Czechia

I have over 20 years of experience in programming in various languages, from QBasic on a 386 processor, which I discovered in elementary school, to today's modern languages such as Go.

My main specialization is artificial intelligence, which I have been involved in since high school when I programmed a chatbot and a language translator. I have thus witnessed the revolution of deep neural networks almost from the front row. From content identification on a webpage, which I worked on around 2010, to today's ChatGPT or Whisper, neural networks are now the dominant force in the entire field of machine learning.

My passion is not only developing such systems but also maintaining, refactoring, and providing others with the infrastructure for development. Here is my Portfolio

ML-OPS

Optimization

Are the chosen algorithms efficient? What is their time complexity? Is AI inference being used as it should be? A program that takes hours to compute a task may not be using an optimal algorithm. Sometimes, such processes can be reduced to just a few seconds which can translate to savings of thousands of dollars per month.

Cloud

"Managing your own infrastructure can be costly in terms of both hardware and human resources, especially if your AI models require GPU support. I am able to deploy your system in the Google Cloud environment as well."

Backend architecture

"Do you have the right architecture? Can you scale it? Hire programmers for it? What is the difference between Python, PHP, and Rust? SQL or NoSQL? REST or gRPC? Who can navigate all this and choose the right one for their development?"

Refactoring

"Projects need maintenance. Do you have the right cyclomatic complexity? What about the length of your methods? Old code needs to be cleaned up like old doors, and once it reaches the end of its lifecycle, it should gradually be replaced with new code."
